From Higashiyama Yasui bus stop, walk approximately 10 minutes to Ishibe Kōji Road. Head west on Higashioji-dori toward Yasui Kitamon-dori. Turn right onto Yasui Kitamon-dori, then turn left onto Nene-no-Michi. Continue onto Ishibe Kōji Road. The entrance is easy to miss, so look for a narrow opening between traditional buildings.

Take Kyoto City Bus 206 and get off at the Gion bus stop. From Kyoto Station, buses 100 or 206 will also take you to the Higashiyama Yasui stop. The flat fare for buses within the city is ¥230 for adults and ¥120 for children. From the bus stop, it is a short walk to Ishibe Kōji Road.
