If you are starting from Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Line subway towards Kokusaikaikan and get off at the Higashiyama Station (about 15 minutes). Exit the station and head east on Sanjo-dori. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Honmachi-dori. Turn left and walk north for about 10 minutes. You will see Komyo-in Temple on your right at 15 Chome-809 Honmachi.

Parking is limited near the temple, so look for nearby public parking lots. After parking, walk east along Honmachi Street for about 5 minutes to reach Komyo-in Temple at 15 Chome-809 Honmachi.
