Public Transport - Train
Start at Kyoto Station. Take the Karasuma Line (subway) towards Kokusaikaikan. Get off at Marutamachi Station (4 stops). Exit the station and walk east on Marutamachi Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Kawaramachi Street. Turn left and walk north until you reach the intersection with Sanjo Street. Here, take bus #203 or #17 from the bus stop at Sanjo-Kawaramachi. Ride the bus for about 10 minutes and get off at Higashiyama Sanjo. From the bus stop, walk east for about 10 minutes; Komyo-in Temple will be on your left at 15 Chome-809 Honmachi.
