From Kyoto Station, take the JR Nara Line bound for Nara. The train ride takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Nara Station, exit the station and head towards the main street, Sanjo-dori. You will see signs directing you to Naramachi.

From Kyoto Station, board the Kyoto City Bus (Bus No. 205) heading to Nara. The journey takes about 1 hour. Get off at the Nara Hotel stop. From there, walk towards Naramachi, which is approximately a 15-minute walk. Follow the signs towards the Naramachi district.

Bicycle Rental
You can rent a bicycle from a rental shop near Kyoto Station. Follow the road south towards Nara (approximately 40km). This ride will take some time but is very scenic. Upon reaching Nara, use local maps or GPS to navigate to Naramachi.

If you're already in Nara city, Naramachi is easily accessible on foot. Simply head east from Nara Station. Walk along Sanjo-dori, and you will arrive at Naramachi in about 15-20 minutes. Look for signs directing you to the historic district.
