To travel by train, start by heading to Nara Station which is accessible from major cities like Kyoto and Osaka. From Kyoto, take the Kintetsu Kyoto Line to Kintetsu Nara Station (approximately 35 minutes, costing around 600 yen). From Osaka, you can take the Kintetsu Nara Line from Osaka Namba Station to Kintetsu Nara Station (approximately 40 minutes, costing around 800 yen). Once you arrive at Kintetsu Nara Station, exit the station and walk towards the historical district. Naramachi is about a 15-20 minute walk from the station. Follow the signs toward Nara Park and you will find Naramachi on your way.
