Public Transportation
From Kyoto Station, take the JR San-In Line towards Sonobe. Ride for about 30 minutes and get off at Hanazono Station. From Hanazono Station, take a taxi to Rokuo-in, which is approximately a 10-minute ride. Alternatively, you can take bus number 63 from the station towards Sagano and get off at the Rokuo-in bus stop, which is a short walk from the temple.
Car
If you are driving from Kyoto Station, take the R1 road towards the northwest. Continue on R1 for about 5 km, then turn right onto Saga Toriimoto. Follow the road for about 2 km until you reach Sagakitaboricho. Rokuo-in will be on your left. There is parking available near the temple, but it can fill up quickly, so arrive early.
Public Transportation
If you are in Arashiyama, take bus number 28 or 93 from the Arashiyama Station towards Kyoto. Get off at the Rokuo-in stop. The temple is just a short walk from the bus stop, making it very accessible.
