Car
If you are driving from Osaka, take the Hanshin Expressway and follow signs for the Kansai International Airport. Merge onto the Nanki-Hashimoto Road (Route 24) towards Wakayama. Continue until you reach the Kada area. Parking is available near the ferry terminal, but be sure to check for any parking fees that may apply.
Train and Ferry
From Osaka, take the JR Kansai Airport Line to Hineno Station. Transfer to the Nankai Main Line and head towards Wakayama Station. At Wakayama Station, transfer to the Wakayama Electric Railway (Wakaura Line) and alight at Kada Station. From Kada Station, it’s a short walk to the ferry terminal. The ferry ride to Tomogashima takes approximately 20 minutes, and tickets can be purchased at the terminal. Be aware of ferry schedules, as they may vary by season and day.
Bus and Ferry
You can also take a highway bus from Osaka to Wakayama. Buses depart regularly from Namba Station. Once you arrive at the Wakayama Bus Terminal, transfer to a local bus heading to Kada. After arriving at Kada, walk to the ferry terminal for the ride to Tomogashima. Check the bus and ferry schedules in advance to ensure smooth connections.
