Public Transport

Dotonbori is easily accessible via Osaka Metro. Namba Station (Midosuji, Yotsubashi, and Sennichimae Lines) is a short walk away. From Namba Station, take Exit 25 for an elevator and wheelchair access closer to the Dotonbori canal. Nippombashi Station (Sennichimae and Sakaisuji Lines) is also nearby; use Exit 5 for wheelchair access. Subway fares range from ¥190 to ¥390 for adults, depending on the distance. Consider purchasing an ICOCA card for convenient tap-and-go travel.

Walking

From Namba Station, follow the signs to Dotonbori, approximately a 4-minute walk. Head north towards the Dotonbori Canal and Ebisubashi Bridge, where the Glico Running Man sign is located. The area is pedestrian-friendly but can be crowded. Note that the boardwalk promenade beside the canal has several access ramps for those with mobility needs.

Taxi

Taxis are readily available in Osaka. You can find taxi stands outside major train stations like Namba Station or hail one on the street. A short taxi ride from Namba Station to a specific point in Dotonbori will likely cost around ¥680 for the first 2km, with an additional ¥400 per kilometer. Be aware that fares increase by 20% between 10 PM and 5 AM. Toll fees may apply depending on the route.
