Car
If you are driving, head towards Wakayama City and follow Route 42 towards Kimiidera. Once you reach the Kimiidera area, look for signs directing you to Kimii-dera. There is parking available nearby. The parking lot is located just a short walk from the temple entrance.
Public Transportation
To reach Kimii-dera by public transportation, take a train to Wakayama Station. From Wakayama Station, catch a bus bound for Kimiidera. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Kimiidera bus stop, follow the signs leading you to the temple, which is a short walk uphill from the stop.
Walking
If you are already in the Kimiidera area, you can easily walk to Kimii-dera. From the nearest bus stop, exit and look for the path leading uphill. The temple is well-marked, and the walk will take around 10-15 minutes. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the path may be steep.
