There is a parking area available near the shrine. Note that parking fees may apply, typically around 500 yen. The drive will take approximately 30 minutes from the nearest major city, Shingu.

  • Public Transportation - Train

    If taking public transportation, board a train from Shingu Station (Shingu is the closest major train station). Take the Nankai Kisei Line towards Katsuura and get off at Nachikatsuura Station. The journey takes about 25 minutes. From Nachikatsuura Station, you can either walk to Kumano-Nachi Taisha (approximately 30 minutes) or take a local bus. Buses run regularly from the station to the base of Nachisan, where the shrine is located. The bus fare is around 300 yen.
