    Getting There

    Train

    From Kyoto Station, take the JR Nara Line towards Nara. The train ride will take approximately 45 minutes. Get off at Oji Station. Once you arrive at Oji Station, exit the station and head east toward the main road (Oji Street). Turn right and walk along the road for about 10 minutes. You will see Daruma-ji Temple on your left at 2 Chome-1-40 Honmachi.

    Bus

    From Kyoto Station, take the Kyoto City Bus number 205 towards Nara. Ride the bus for about 50 minutes until you reach Oji Station. After getting off, walk east on Oji Street for about 10 minutes. Daruma-ji Temple will be on your left at 2 Chome-1-40 Honmachi.

    Taxi

    If you prefer a taxi, you can take one from anywhere in Kyoto. Simply provide the driver with the address: 2 Chome-1-40 Honmachi, Oji, Kitakatsuragi District, Nara 636-0012. The drive should take around 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.
