Getting There

Bus
From Kyoto Station, take the City Bus number 28 towards Arashiyama. Ride for about 30 minutes and get off at the 'Jojakkoji' bus stop. Once you exit the bus, walk straight for about 5 minutes. You will see the entrance to Jojakkoji on your right.

Train
From Kyoto Station, take the JR San-in Line towards Sonobe and get off at Saga-Arashiyama Station (approximately 15 minutes). From the station, walk north for about 10 minutes along the road, and then turn right onto Sagaogurayama Oguracho. Jojakkoji will be on your left.

Bicycle
If you are renting a bicycle in Kyoto, head towards Arashiyama. Follow the cycling path along the Katsura River, which will take you to the Arashiyama area. From there, follow signs towards Jojakkoji, which is about a 15-minute ride from Arashiyama. The temple is located on Sagaogurayama Oguracho, just off the main road.

Walking
If you are near the Arashiyama area, you can walk to Jojakkoji. From the scenic Togetsukyo Bridge, head northwest along the main road for about 20 minutes. As you walk, you will see signs pointing to Jojakkoji temple. Follow the signs, and the temple will be on your left.
