From Kyoto Station, take the JR Nara Line towards Nara Station. The train ride takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Nara Station, exit the station and turn right. You will see a sign directing you to Nara Park, which is a short 20-minute walk.

From Kyoto Station, go to the bus terminal located just outside the station. Take the Kintetsu Bus bound for Nara, which is a direct route. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Get off at the Nara Park stop, and you will be right at the entrance of Nara.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops around Kyoto Station. Follow the cycle route towards the east, which will lead you to the Kamo River.
