Train
From Kyoto Station, take the JR Nara Line towards Nara. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Nara Station, exit the station and head east. Follow the signs for Nara Park; you will see the park entrance approximately a 20-minute walk from the station.
Bus
From Kyoto Station, you can take the Kintetsu Bus (number 20 or 21) directly to Nara Park. The bus ride will take around 50 minutes. Get off at the Nara Park stop, and you will find yourself at the main entrance of the park.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle from a rental shop near Kyoto Station. Take the route along the Kamo River heading south, then follow the signs towards Nara. It will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to reach Nara Park, depending on your cycling speed. Make sure to follow the bicycle paths for safety.
