Getting There

    From Kyoto Station, take the JR Nara Line to Nara Station (approximately 45 minutes). At Nara Station, transfer to the Kintetsu Nara Line and take the train to Kamo Station (about 10 minutes). From Kamo Station, exit and take the bus No. 72 (bound for Miyama) from the bus stop located at the station. Stay on the bus until you reach the Miyamachokita stop. From the bus stop, Kayabuki No Sato is a short 10-minute walk. Follow the signs towards Miyamachokita, and you will see the traditional thatched-roof houses along the way.

    Take the bus from Kyoto Station (Bus No. 65) directly to the Miyama area. The ride takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
