If you are near Kyoto Station, exit from the central exit and head towards the Karasuma Subway Line station. Take the Karasuma Line towards Kokusaikaikan and get off at Shijo Station (about 5 minutes). From Shijo Station, take Exit 1 and walk straight along Shijo Street for about 5 minutes until you reach the Nishiki Market entrance on your right.

If you are staying in the Gion area, walk towards Shijo Street. Once you reach Shijo Street, turn left and walk straight for about 10 minutes until you see the Nishiki Market entrance on your left. The market is located just off Shijo Street in Nakagyo Ward.

Public Transport
From the Kyoto Imperial Palace area, walk to Marutamachi Station and take the Karasuma Subway Line towards Takeda. Change at Shijo Station (about 10 minutes total). Exit through Exit 1, then walk straight along Shijo Street for about 5 minutes until you arrive at Nishiki Market.

From the Nijo Castle, walk to Nijojo-mae Station and take the Tozai Subway Line towards Uzumasa Tenjingawa. Get off at Karasuma Oike Station and transfer to the Karasuma Line. Take the train towards Shijo Station (about 10 minutes). Once you exit at Shijo, walk straight for about 5 minutes to reach Nishiki Market.

Bicycle
If you have rented a bicycle, head towards the Nishiki Market from the direction of the Kyoto Station. It will take about 15 minutes. Ride along Karasuma Street until you reach Shijo Street, then turn right. Continue riding for about 5 minutes, and you will see the entrance to Nishiki Market on your left.
