Train
From Kyoto Station, take the JR Special Rapid Service train towards Osaka Station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Osaka Station, follow the signs to transfer to the Osaka Loop Line. Board a train on the Loop Line going towards Osakajokoen Station. After about 15 minutes, get off at Osakajokoen Station.
Walking
From Osakajokoen Station, exit the station and turn left. Walk straight for about 10 minutes along the path that leads into Osaka Castle Park. You will see signs for Otemon Gate. Follow the signs and you will arrive at Otemon Gate, which is the main entrance to Osaka Castle.
Bus
From Kyoto Station, you can also take the Kyoto City Bus number 205 towards 'Osaka' and get off at 'Osaka Castle Park' bus stop after approximately 40 minutes. From the bus stop, walk towards the park entrance, and follow the signs to Otemon Gate, which should take you about 5 minutes.
