Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Settsu and head towards the Osaka area. Take the Hanshin Expressway No. 11 Ikeda Route and follow the signs for Osaka. Once you reach the city, exit at the Osakajo exit. From there, follow the signs for Osakajo (Osaka Castle) until you reach the South Outer Moat. Make sure to look for parking options nearby as parking might incur a fee.
Train
For those using public transportation, take the Hankyu Takarazuka Line from Settsu Station and head towards Umeda Station. At Umeda Station, transfer to the Osaka Loop Line and get off at Osakajokoen Station. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk to reach the South Outer Moat. Follow the signs towards Osaka Castle, and you will see the moat as you approach the castle grounds.
