If you're traveling by car, start from Fukuoka City. Take the Kyushu Expressway towards Oita. After about 2 hours, take the Yufuin exit. Follow Route 210 north towards Yufuin. Once in Yufuin, follow the signs to Kinrin Lake, which is located at 1561-1 Yufuincho Kawakami, Yufu, Oita 879-5102. There is parking available near the lake, though fees may apply depending on the lot.
