If you're driving, start on Route 57 from Kumamoto City. Follow the signs towards Aso and Minamiaso. Continue on Route 57 for about 30 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 265. Turn left onto Route 265 and drive for about 15 kilometers. You will see signs for Shirakawa Spring. Turn right onto Shirakawa road, and after a few minutes, you will arrive at Shirakawa Spring, located at 2040 Shirakawa, Minamiaso, Aso District, Kumamoto.

To reach Shirakawa Spring using public transport, take the JR Hohi Main Line from Kumamoto Station to Aso Station. The journey takes about 50 minutes. From Aso Station, transfer to a local bus bound for Minamiaso. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Shirakawa bus stop.
