From Mikawa, take Route 57 heading north. Continue on Route 57 for approximately 15 km. You will enter Yanagawa city. Look for signs directing you to the Machiboke Monument, which is located near Shinhokamachi. Once you see the monument, you can park your car in the nearby area.

Public Transportation
Start at Mikawa Station. Take the JR Kagoshima Main Line train heading south towards Hakata. Ride for about 30 minutes and get off at Yanagawa Station. From Yanagawa Station, you can take a local bus (Bus No. 3 or 4) that heads towards Shinhokamachi. The bus fare is approximately 200 yen. Get off at the 'Shinhokamachi' bus stop, and the Machiboke Monument will be a short walk from there.
