Car
If you're driving, start from central Mikawa. Head northwest on Route 13 for about 30 km towards Yonezawa. Once you reach Yonezawa, take the exit for Route 112. Continue on Route 112 for about 5 km. When you reach Marunouchi, look for signs directing you to Matsugasaki Park. The park is located at 1 Chome-4-13 Marunouchi, Yonezawa, Yamagata. There is parking available at the park, but be aware that it might incur a fee, so check for signage regarding costs.
Public Transportation - Train
To reach Matsugasaki Park using public transportation, start by taking the Yamagata Shinkansen from Mikawa Station to Yonezawa Station, which takes approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Yonezawa Station, exit the station and head to the bus terminal located adjacent to the station. Take the local bus heading towards the Marunouchi area. The bus ride will take around 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Marunouchi' stop, and Matsugasaki Park is just a short walk from the bus stop. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance for the most accurate timings.
Public Transportation - Bus
If you prefer to use only buses, you can take a bus from Mikawa to Yonezawa. Board a bus from Mikawa Bus Terminal to Yonezawa Bus Terminal. The journey usually takes around 50 minutes. From Yonezawa Bus Terminal, you can transfer to a local bus heading towards Marunouchi. The local bus ride will take about 10-15 minutes, and you will need to disembark at the 'Marunouchi' stop. Matsugasaki Park is a short walk from the bus stop.
