From Shibuya Station, take the JR Yamanote Line towards Ikebukuro. Get off at Shinjuku Station (approximately 7 minutes). At Shinjuku Station, transfer to the Odakyu Line and take the express train to Shimokitazawa Station (approximately 5 minutes). Once at Shimokitazawa Station, exit the station and head southeast on Setagaya-dori Avenue. Walk straight for about 15 minutes until you reach 1 Chome-29-18 Setagaya, where the Setagaya Local History Museum is located.

If you are driving from Shinjuku, take the Shuto Expressway No. 4 towards Yokohama. Stay on the expressway for about 15 minutes. Take exit 3 toward Setagaya and merge onto Route 246. Continue on Route 246 for about 3 kilometers. Turn right onto Setagaya-dori and follow the road for approximately 1 kilometer. The Setagaya Local History Museum will be on your left at 1 Chome-29-18 Setagaya. There is parking available nearby.

From Tokyo Station, take the JR Yamanote Line towards Shibuya. Get off at Shibuya Station (approximately 20 minutes). Transfer to the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line and take the train towards Nagatsuta. Get off at Sangenjaya Station (approximately 8 minutes). Exit Sangenjaya Station and take the bus number 井の09 (Inokashira) towards Kamiyama-cho. Get off at the 'Setagaya Kōen' bus stop. Walk for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at the Setagaya Local History Museum.

Coming from Narita Airport, take the Narita Express train to Tokyo Station (approximately 1 hour). From Tokyo Station, follow the directions for driving from Shinjuku, as mentioned above. Note that parking may be limited, so it's advisable to check availability ahead of your visit.
