Car
From Mutsu, drive east on Route 279. Continue for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the city of Aomori. Upon entering Aomori, follow signs for Route 4. Merge onto Route 4 and continue for about 5 kilometers. You will see signs for Aoiumi Park (青い海公園) on your left. The park is located at 2 Chome-1 Yasukata, Aomori, 030-0803. Parking is available on-site, and there are no fees to park.
Public Transportation - Train and Bus
Start at Mutsu Station and take a train to Aomori Station. The train ride takes approximately 50 minutes. From Aomori Station, exit and take the city bus (Aomori City Loop Bus) towards Yasukata. The bus ride will take around 15 minutes. Get off at the Yasukata stop, and Aoiumi Park will be a short walk from there. The bus fare is approximately 200 yen.
Public Transportation - Bus Only
You can take a direct highway bus from Mutsu to Aomori, which typically takes around 1 hour. Buses leave from Mutsu Bus Terminal. Ensure you check the schedule for departure times. Once you arrive at Aomori Bus Terminal, take a local city bus towards Yasukata. Get off at the Yasukata stop, then walk to Aoiumi Park. The total cost for the bus journey ranges from 1,000 to 1,500 yen depending on the bus service.
