Car
From Mutsu city center, head northeast on Route 4. Follow the signs for Aomori and continue driving for about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you reach Aomori city, take the exit toward the city center and follow signs for Furukawa. Turn left onto 1 Chome Furukawa and after a short drive, Aomori Machinaka Onsen will be on your right at 1 Chome-10-14 Furukawa.
Public Transportation (Train + Bus)
Start at Mutsu's Shichinohe-Towada Station. Take the JR Towada Line to Aomori Station (approximately 1 hour). Once at Aomori Station, exit the station and take the Aomori City Bus (Blue Line) towards Furukawa. The bus ride will take about 15-20 minutes. Get off at the 'Furukawa' bus stop, and Aomori Machinaka Onsen is just a short walk away at 1 Chome-10-14 Furukawa.
Public Transportation (Direct Bus)
From Mutsu city, head to the Mutsu Bus Terminal. Take an express bus directly to Aomori City, which typically takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes. After arriving at the Aomori Bus Terminal, you can take a local bus or taxi to Aomori Machinaka Onsen located at 1 Chome-10-14 Furukawa, which is about a 15-minute ride.
