Car
If you are driving from Mutsu, head towards Route 279 and continue for about 30 kilometers. Follow the signs for Aomori City as you approach. Once you reach Aomori City, keep an eye out for signs directing you to Katta area. Turn onto 2 Chome-14 Katta, where Aomori Peace Park is located. Parking is available near the park, but be aware that there may be a small parking fee.
Public Transportation
To reach Aomori Peace Park by public transportation, start by taking a bus from Mutsu City to Aomori Station. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. From Aomori Station, you can transfer to another local bus heading to Katta area. The bus ride from Aomori Station to the Katta area takes roughly 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Katta bus stop, it's a short 5-minute walk to Aomori Peace Park. Keep in mind that bus fares vary, but you should expect to pay around 1,000 JPY for the bus from Mutsu to Aomori Station and around 300 JPY for the local bus to Katta.
