From the center of Mutsu, head south on Route 279 towards Ominato. Continue on Route 279 for approximately 15 kilometers. Once you reach Ominato, look for signs directing you to Mt. Kamabuse. The mountain is located at coordinates 41.2785, 141.1200. There is a small parking area near the base where you can leave your vehicle. Note that parking may be limited, so arrive early if possible.

Public Transportation (Bus)
Start from the Mutsu City Bus terminal. Take the bus heading towards Ominato. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Mt. Kamabuse. From the bus stop, you will need to walk approximately 2 kilometers to reach the base of the mountain. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may be limited, especially on weekends or holidays.
