Car
If you are driving from Mutsu, take Route 279 towards the Shimokita Peninsula. Follow the signs for Oma and Benten. The drive is approximately 30 minutes, covering around 25 kilometers. Once you reach the town of Oma, continue toward Benten, where the Ōmazaki Lighthouse is located. There is a small parking area near the lighthouse where you can leave your car.
Public Transportation
To reach Ōmazaki Lighthouse using public transportation, start at Mutsu Station. Take a bus toward the town of Oma. Buses typically run a few times a day, so be sure to check the schedule ahead of time. The journey will take about 40-50 minutes. Once you arrive at the Oma bus terminal, you can either take a taxi for a short ride to the lighthouse or walk the remaining 3 kilometers along the coast, enjoying the scenic views.

Taxis are available around Mutsu city, and a ride to Ōmazaki Lighthouse from central Mutsu will take approximately 30 minutes. Be prepared for a fare that could range from 5,000 to 7,000 yen, depending on traffic and exact pickup location.
