Car
If you're driving from Mutsu City, head south on Route 279. After approximately 30 minutes, take the exit toward Sai Village. Follow the signs for Sai Village, and once you enter the village, look for the Tsugaru Straits Cultural Center (津軽海峡文化館アルサス). The Sai Village Straits Museum is located on the second floor of this building. Parking is usually available at the cultural center.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From Mutsu Station, take the bus bound for Sai Village (さい村行き). The journey takes about 40 minutes. Ask the bus driver to let you know when you reach the Tsugaru Straits Cultural Center stop. Once you get off, the museum is located on the second floor of the cultural center. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as buses may run infrequently.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from Mutsu City. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes, and you should mention 'Tsugaru Straits Cultural Center' (津軽海峡文化館アルサス) to the driver. Taxi fares may vary, but expect to pay around 4,000 to 5,000 yen.
