Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, you'll want to navigate to Nagasaki Park located at 19-8 Kaminishiyamamachi, Nagasaki, 850-0006. From central Nagasaki, take Route 34, heading towards the city center. Follow the signs for 'Kaminishiyama' and 'Nagasaki Park'. There is limited parking available near the park, so be prepared to find a spot on the surrounding streets if the lot is full. Parking fees may apply, so check the signage for rates.

• Public Transportation - Tram

  For those using public transport, take the Nagasaki Electric Tramway Line (also known as the streetcar) and board a tram heading towards 'Nagasaki Station'. Get off at the 'Kaminishiyama' stop. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to Nagasaki Park. Exit the tram and head west on Kaminishiyamamachi Street until you see the park entrance on your left. A one-way fare on the tram costs approximately 210 yen.

  Alternatively, you can take a bus to Nagasaki Park. Catch the bus at any major station in Nagasaki—Nagasaki Station is a good starting point. Look for a bus that goes to 'Kaminishiyama'. After about 15 minutes, get off at the 'Kaminishiyama Park' bus stop. From there, you can walk to the park entrance in less than 5 minutes. Bus fares vary but generally cost around 200-300 yen.
