Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, head towards Tateyama Park located at 5 Chome-16 Tateyama, Nagasaki, 850-0007. Use your GPS and enter the address. From central Nagasaki, take Route 34 (Nagasaki Bypass) and follow the signs for Tateyama. The park has a parking area, but be aware that parking spots may fill up quickly during weekends and holidays. There are no parking fees.

  • Public Transportation - Bus

    To reach Tateyama Park via public transportation, take the Nagasaki Bus from Nagasaki Station. Look for buses bound for Tateyama or Matsuura. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Tateyama bus stop, which is a short walk from the park entrance. The bus fare is around 370 yen.

  • Public Transportation - Tram and Walking

    You can also take the tram from Nagasaki Station. Board a tram on the blue line heading towards 'Nagasaki Eki' and get off at 'Kankōdōri' station. From there, transfer to bus number 3 or 5 towards Tateyama. The bus ride will take around 15 minutes. After getting off at the Tateyama bus stop, it’s just a short 5-minute walk to the park entrance.
