    Start your journey from any location on Naoshima Island. Head to the Naoshima Ferry Terminal. From there, take a ferry to Takamatsu, which usually takes around 50 minutes. Ensure you check the ferry schedule in advance, as departures may vary throughout the day. Once you arrive at Takamatsu, walk towards the Takamatsu Station. From there, take a local bus (Kotoden) towards Ritsurin Garden. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. You will need to pay a fare of around 210 yen.

    If you are traveling by car, drive to the Naoshima Ferry Terminal and take your car on the ferry to Takamatsu. Once you arrive in Takamatsu, follow the signs to Route 11. Continue on Route 11 and then take Route 30, following the signs for Ritsurin Garden. The drive from the ferry terminal to Ritsurin Garden takes about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Note that there may be parking fees at Ritsurin Garden.
