Getting There

  • Ferry and Bus

    From Naoshima Island, you will need to take a ferry from Miyanoura Port to Takamatsu Port. The ferry ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Check the ferry schedule in advance to ensure you arrive on time. Once you arrive at Takamatsu Port, exit the ferry terminal and head to the bus stop located outside the port. Take either the Kotoden Bus (No. 15 or No. 16) heading to 'Takamatsu City' or 'Konyamachi'. The bus ride will take around 15-20 minutes. Get off at 'Konyamachi' bus stop, which is within walking distance to the Takamatsu Art Museum.

    If you are driving from Naoshima Island, you will need to take the ferry to Takamatsu Port. After disembarking from the ferry, follow the signs for Route 30 (Nishikido Highway) towards Takamatsu city center. Continue on Route 30 until you reach the intersection with Konyamachi. Turn onto Konyamachi Street and follow it until you reach the Takamatsu Art Museum located at 10-4 Konyamachi, Takamatsu, Kagawa 760-0027. There is parking available nearby, but be sure to check for any parking fees.
