Getting There

    If you are driving from your location in Naoshima Island, first take the ferry to Takamatsu. The ferry departs from Miyanoura Port in Naoshima and arrives at Takamatsu Port. The ferry ride takes approximately 30 minutes and costs around 1,200 JPY (one way). Once you arrive at Takamatsu Port, exit the port and turn left. Follow the signs to Route 30. Continue on Route 30 for about 5 kilometers, following the signs for Takamatsu Castle Park. There is parking available near the park, which may cost around 300 JPY per hour.

  • Public Transportation

    For public transportation, take the ferry from Miyanoura Port in Naoshima Island to Takamatsu Port. The ferry ride takes about 30 minutes and costs approximately 1,200 JPY. Upon arriving at Takamatsu Port, exit the terminal and look for the bus stop located nearby. Take the Kotoden bus number 16 or 19 towards Tamamo Park. The bus ride will take about 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Tamamo Park' bus stop, which is a short walk from Takamatsu Castle Park. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the latest timings.
