Car
If you're driving to Nashinoki Shrine from the center of Nara, take Route 24 towards Kyoto. After about 40 minutes of travel, merge onto the Meishin Expressway towards Kyoto. Take the exit for Kyoto and continue on Route 1 until you reach the intersection with Route 162. Turn left onto Route 162 and follow the signs for Kamigyo Ward. Once you reach Somedonocho, look for parking options nearby the shrine. The shrine is located at 680 Somedonocho.

Public Transportation
To reach Nashinoki Shrine by public transport from Nara, take the Kintetsu Nara Line from Nara Station to Kyoto Station. This journey takes around 45 minutes. Once at Kyoto Station, transfer to the Karasuma Subway Line and get off at Marutamachi Station. From Marutamachi Station, exit and take bus number 204 or 205 towards Nijo Castle. Get off at the 'Nashinoki Shrine' bus stop. The shrine is a short walk from the bus stop, located at 680 Somedonocho.
