Walking
If you are starting from Nara Station, exit the station and turn left onto Sanjo Street (Sanjo-dori). Walk straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with the main road, then turn right onto the road. Continue walking for another 400 meters until you see the Gango-ji temple on your left. The address is Chuincho, 11, Nara, 630-8392.

From Nara Station, head to the bus terminal adjacent to the station. Look for the bus marked 'Nara Kotsu Bus' that goes to 'Gango-ji'. Board the bus and ride for approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the Gango-ji stop, which is directly in front of the temple. Follow the signs to the entrance of Gango-ji, located at Chuincho, 11, Nara, 630-8392.
