From the museum, head south along the main road (Naramachi Street) for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection at Takabatakecho. Turn right at the intersection and continue for approximately 5 minutes. The Garden of the Former Daijyo-in Temple will be on your left at 1083-1 Takabatakecho.

    From Nara Station, take the Nara Kotsu Bus bound for 'Toshodai-ji Daigokuden'. Ride the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at 'Daijyo-in'.
