If you're starting from Nara Park, head east towards the Nara National Museum. From the museum, walk along the main road (Route 169) and continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach Takabatakecho. Kataoka Bairin will be on your left at 1149 Takabatakecho.

From Nara Station, take the Nara Kotsu Bus #2 or #6 towards Takabatake. Get off at the Takabatakecho bus stop. From there, it’s a short walk (about 5 minutes) to Kataoka Bairin, which will be located at 1149 Takabatakecho. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions.
