    Getting There

    Train

    From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line towards Nagoya. Get off at Kintetsu Nara Station. Transfer to the JR Nara Line and take a train to Otsu Station. Once you arrive at Otsu Station, exit the station and head towards the bus terminal.

    Bus

    At the Otsu Station bus terminal, take the bus bound for Sakamoto. The bus ride should take approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to get off at the Sakamoto stop, which is the closest stop to Hiyoshi Taisha.

    Walk

    From the Sakamoto bus stop, walk straight down Sakamoto Street for about 5 minutes. You'll pass by several shops and restaurants. Hiyoshi Taisha will be on your left. Look for the large entrance gate that leads to the shrine.
