Bus
From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Kyoto Station (approximately 45 minutes). Once at Kyoto Station, transfer to the Kyoto City Bus (No. 204 or 205) heading towards Hachiman-cho. Get off at the Kamitakano Hachimancho stop, which is about a 5-minute walk from Rengeji Temple. Follow the signs for the temple, and you should reach it in about 10 minutes.
Train and Bus
Start at Nara Station and board the Kintetsu Nara Line to Tofukuji Station (about 30 minutes). From Tofukuji Station, take bus No. 100 or No. 202 towards Kyoto Station. Get off at Kamitakano Hachimancho. From the bus stop, walk towards the temple following the signs, which should take around 10 minutes.
Walking
If you are staying in Kyoto, you can walk from the nearest bus stop, Kamitakano Hachimancho, to Rengeji Temple. After getting off the bus, walk northwest on Hachimancho Street and follow the signs to the temple. The walk will take approximately 10-15 minutes.
