Walking
If you are in Nara city center, start by heading towards the Nara Park area. From Nara Park, take the Kintetsu Nara Station exit towards the Naramachi district. Walk along the main street heading towards the south until you reach the Nara National Museum. From there, continue south until you reach the main road, then turn left onto Route 169. After about 15 minutes of walking, you will see signs directing you towards Ikutama Jinja Shrine.

Train and Walking
From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Osaka Abenobashi Station (approximately 45 minutes). Once you arrive at Osaka Abenobashi, exit the station and head towards the Ikutamacho area. Walk straight down Ikutamacho Street for about 10 minutes until you reach the Ikutama Jinja Shrine, which will be on your left.

Bus
From Nara Station, take the Nara City Bus (Route 70 or 72) towards the Tennoji area. Get off at the Ikutama Jinja-mae bus stop. The shrine is a short walk from the bus stop, about 5 minutes. Follow the signs to Ikutama Jinja, which will lead you directly to the entrance.
