Train
From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line and board a train bound for Osaka Namba. Alight at Osaka Uehonmachi Station. From there, transfer to the Osaka Metro and take the Tanimachi Line towards Dainichi. Get off at Tennoji Station. Exit the station and follow the signs to the Abeno Harukas building. Isshin-ji Temple is a 10-minute walk from there. Head south on Abenosuji Street and take a left onto Shitennoji-mae Yuhigaoka Street, then continue straight until you reach the temple.

From Nara Park, walk to the Nara Bus Terminal. Take the Nara City Bus, route 70 bound for Osaka Station. After approximately 40 minutes, get off at Tennoji Station. From Tennoji Station, follow the signs to the Abeno Harukas building. Isshin-ji Temple is a 10-minute walk from there. Head south on Abenosuji Street and take a left onto Shitennoji-mae Yuhigaoka Street, then continue straight until you reach the temple.

If you are near the center of Nara, you can take a leisurely 45-minute walk to the Isshin-ji Temple. Start from Nara Park and head east towards the Naramachi district. Continue on to Sanjo Dori Street, then head towards the Kintetsu Nara Station. From there, walk towards the south, following Abenosuji Street until you reach the temple. Keep an eye out for the temple's entrance, which is marked by a large gate.
