Bus
From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Kyoto Station. Once at Kyoto Station, transfer to Bus Line 205 (or 101) towards Kamigamo Shrine. Get off at 'Kamigamo Jinja-mae' bus stop. The shrine entrance is a short walk from the bus stop.
Train and Bus
From Nara Station, take the JR Nara Line to Kyoto Station. Once at Kyoto Station, exit the station and look for the bus terminal. Board Bus Line 205 (or 101) heading towards Kamigamo Shrine. Disembark at 'Kamigamo Jinja-mae' bus stop, which is just a short walk from the entrance of the shrine.
Walking
If you are close to the Kyoto city center, you can walk to Kamigamo Shrine. Head north on Horikawa-dori Street until you reach the intersection with Kamigamo Motoyama Street. Turn left onto Kamigamo Motoyama Street. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you see the entrance to Kamigamo Shrine on your right.
