Train
If you are in Nara, take the Kintetsu Nara Line from Kintetsu Nara Station towards Kyoto. This train takes approximately 45 minutes. Get off at Kintetsu Kyoto Station.
Public Transport - Bus
From Kintetsu Kyoto Station, exit the station and head to the bus terminal. Take bus number 100 or 206 towards Ginkakuji (Silver Pavilion). After about 15 minutes, get off at the stop called 'Higashiyama Nanajo'.
Walking
From 'Higashiyama Nanajo' bus stop, walk north on Higashioji Street. Turn right onto Shichijo Street and continue walking until you reach a T-intersection. Turn left onto Chome 15 Honmachi. Komyo-in Temple will be on your left at 15 Chome-809 Honmachi, Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto.
