Once at Kyoto Station, follow the signs to the Karasuma Line subway and take the subway towards Kokusaikaikan. Get off at Gojo Station. From Gojo Station, exit the station and walk approximately 10 minutes to the Kyoto Railway Museum located at Kankijicho, Shimogyo Ward, Kyoto, 600-8835.
Bus
From Nara Kintetsu Station, take the Kintetsu bus bound for Kyoto Station. The journey takes about 50 minutes. After arriving at Kyoto Station, follow the signs to the Karasuma Line subway and take the subway towards Kokusaikaikan. Get off at Gojo Station. Exit the station and walk about 10 minutes to reach the Kyoto Railway Museum at Kankijicho, Shimogyo Ward, Kyoto, 600-8835.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Nara. Head towards Nara Park, then follow the route along Route 163 to Kyoto. Upon reaching Kyoto, navigate towards Kankijicho in Shimogyo Ward. The total distance is approximately 35 kilometers, and it may take about 2 hours depending on your cycling speed.
