    If you're starting from Kyoto Station, head to the bus terminal located just outside the station. Look for Bus #26 or #29, which will take you directly to Kankijicho. Get off at 'Kankijicho' bus stop. From there, it's a short walk to the Kyoto Railway Museum. Head south on Kankijicho street for about 5 minutes, and you'll see the museum on your left.

    From Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Subway Line (green line) heading towards Kokusaikaikan. Get off at 'Shijo' station (3 stops). Transfer to the Hankyu Kyoto Line and take a train towards Arashiyama. Get off at 'Karasuma' station and exit towards the northwest. Walk along Karasuma street for about 10 minutes until you reach Kankijicho. The Kyoto Railway Museum will be on your right.
