Public Transportation
From Nara Station, take the JR Nara Line to Kyoto Station. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes. Once at Kyoto Station, transfer to the JR Sanin Line (Sagano Line) and take a train towards Kameoka. Get off at Saga-Arashiyama Station, which is the nearest station to Mikami Shrine. From Saga-Arashiyama Station, exit the station and head northwest towards the main road, then turn left onto Sagaogurayama Tabuchiyamacho. Follow this road for about 15 minutes, and you will reach Mikami Shrine on your right.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops near Nara Park or Nara Station. Once you have your bicycle, head towards Nara Station and take the road leading to Kyoto City. Follow the path to the JR Nara Line and cycle towards Kyoto. After approximately an hour of cycling, head towards Saga-Arashiyama and follow the signs to Mikami Shrine. The ride is scenic, and you will enjoy beautiful views along the way.

If you are feeling adventurous and want to walk, start from the center of Nara and head towards Nara Park. From Nara Park, walk towards the nearest bus station and take a bus to Kyoto. After reaching Kyoto, you can walk to Mikami Shrine, which is about 30-40 minutes on foot from the center of Kyoto. Head north through the streets, following signs towards Saga-Arashiyama, and after a scenic walk, you will arrive at the shrine.
