Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Nara City. Head north on Route 163 and continue for about 40 minutes. Follow the signs for Kyoto and merge onto the Kyoto Nara Road. After approximately 30 minutes, take the exit for Arashiyama. Once you arrive in Arashiyama, look for parking near the entrance of the Arashiyama Monkey Park Iwatayama, located on Nakaoshitacho.

Public Transportation
To get to Arashiyama Monkey Park Iwatayama using public transportation, take the JR Nara Line from Nara Station to Kyoto Station (about 45 minutes). At Kyoto Station, transfer to the JR Sagano Line and take the train towards Saga-Arashiyama Station (approximately 20 minutes). From Saga-Arashiyama Station, it is a 15-minute walk to the park. Follow the signs towards Arashiyama, and once you reach the main street, head towards the river. You will find the entrance to the park along the riverbank.
