Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from Nara Park, head south towards Nara Station. Once you reach Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line train towards Kyoto. Get off at Kyoto Station (about 45 minutes). From Kyoto Station, transfer to the Karasuma Subway Line and take the train to Shijo Station. At Shijo Station, exit the station and walk west on Shijo Street until you reach the intersection with Karasuma Street. Turn left (south) and continue walking until you reach the next intersection. Here, turn right onto Oshinishitoincho. Continue walking straight, and you will find Mikane Shrine on your left at 614 Oshinishitoincho.

From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line towards Kyoto. The train ride will take approximately 45 minutes. Get off at Kyoto Station. At Kyoto Station, follow the signs to the Karasuma Subway Line. Take the Karasuma Line towards Kokusai Kaikan. Get off at Shijo Station. From Shijo Station, take exit 1 and walk west on Shijo Street. At the intersection with Karasuma Street, turn left and walk south. When you reach the next intersection, turn right onto Oshinishitoincho. Walk straight, and Mikane Shrine will be on your left at 614 Oshinishitoincho.
