Walking
If you are in central Nara, start at Nara Park (Nara Koen), which is a popular spot known for its free-roaming deer. From the park, head east towards the Nara National Museum. As you walk, you will cross through the park, passing the Todai-ji Temple. Continue walking for about 15 minutes until you reach Noboriojicho Street. The museum will be on your left at 50 Noboriojicho. Look for the large sign outside the building.

From Nara Station, take the Nara Kotsu Bus (Line 2) heading towards 'Higashimuki Shopping Street'. The bus ride takes about 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Naramachi' stop. From there, walk north along the main road for about 5 minutes until you reach Noboriojicho Street. The Nara National Museum will be on your right at 50 Noboriojicho.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops near Nara Station. Take the main road (Route 369) heading east for about 1.5 km. Follow the signs towards Nara Park and then towards the Nara National Museum. It will take approximately 10 minutes to reach the museum. Once you arrive in the area, park your bicycle at the designated spots near the museum entrance.
