Walking
If you are in the central area of Nara, start by heading towards Nara Park. From the park, take the bus to Nara Station. Once at Nara Station, take the JR Nara Line train to Kyoto Station. Upon arriving at Kyoto Station, follow the signs to the Karasuma Subway Line and take the subway to Shijo Station. Exit the station and walk west along Shijo-dori. Continue straight until you reach Nishiki Market, which is located on the left side of the street.

Bus and Train
From anywhere in Nara, make your way to the Nara Bus Terminal. Board a bus that goes to Kyoto Station. After arriving at Kyoto Station, transfer to the Karasuma Subway Line and get off at Shijo Station. Nishiki Market is a short walk from the station. Exit Shijo Station, head west on Shijo-dori, and you will see the entrance to Nishiki Market on your left.

If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from your location in Nara directly to Nishiki Market in Kyoto. Provide the driver with the address: Nakagyo Ward, Kyoto, 604-8055.
